For David's Dear Family & Friends / Denise Kneale (friend) I'm sorry for not lighting many candles for you lately, I have been having a bit of a bad time. I have had you in my prayers, angels and blessings, and wish your family a peaceful New Year 2007, as I know that you are already at peace. Love and Blessings Denise mum to angel James Kneale UK
The Wall / Garnet
The first time I visited the wall in 1986, it was overwhelming... As I approached the walkway, there was a sign, "No Food, Drinks or Smoking, Beyond this Point" and I knew... This Is Hallowed Ground...
NAMES...Names...names... PANELS...Panels...panels... as it penetrated my very soul, there was So Much More Devastation Here than the loss of One Brother...My hero. The sons...the fathers...the husbands... So Many...Too Many.
This wall, projecting the names of our Fallen Heroes. How much, Blood was shed? How many Tears? How many lives, left lonely...shattered... So Many...Too Many.
The Other Names... the ones that aren't on that wall... The Survivors....What about them? Lonely...shattered... often unhealed lives... Each and every one of them, who fought side by side, with these names on the wall, They were family, to all of these names... and they were Heroes, in their own right...
They are all tucked away... in the corners of my mind and in my heart... all the named and the unnamed... Always in my prayers... So Many...Too Many.

Rest Now... / Garnet (Sister)
Rest your head now, weary soldier. Cast your weapons to the ground. Close your eyes and feel the peace, the light of Jesus fold around. Heed not our earthly battle cries, there is no post for you to stand, so rest now as he carries you within his loving hand. Do not look back upon us, disregard our selfish tears, walk in the sunlight of the spirit, free of war or pain and fear. Your duty here is done now, as ours will someday be, so go him now to places only heroes see. ~Author Unknown~
Never Forget! / Kimberly (Thankful American ) What a totally awesome thing for you to create this memorial site for your brother 40 years after his heroic death...all those who gave all deserve to be remembered forever. I never met him, nor you but this memorial has given me and many the insight to a life once lived that deserves recognition forever....
May God Bless our war veterans and the fallen heroes!

...their brave young spirits... / An American (Countryman) ...now arises from hallowed ground a delicate cloud of bugle notes that softly say, go to sleep...Comrades true, born anew, peace to you. Your souls shall be where the heros are and your memories shine like the morning star...Slumber well where the shells screamed and fell...The danger has passed, and now at last, go to sleep...
